Village Center Veterinary Care was established in 2015 by Dr. Anne Pierce. Dr. Pierce has been practicing veterinary medicine in Colorado Springs since graduating from Colorado State University in 1998. Dr. Ian Stewart-Bates graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019. Dr. Brittany Shumack graduated from Auburn University in 2019.
Dr. Pierce has a special fondness for ferrets, but truly loves all creatures. Dr. Stewart-Bates utterly enjoys exotics, whether they are furry, scaled, or feathered. Dr. Shumack specializes in canine reproduction. She is working toward her Theriogenology Board Certification.
We are a privately owned state of the art AAHA accredited veterinary facility, located in the Village Center Shopping Center in Rockrimmon. We offer a full range of veterinary services and enjoy seeing our patients, including dogs, cats, and numerous exotics.
We are a privately owned hospital, what that means is our priorities lie with the clients and patients, that we look in the eye everyday and not with corporate shareholders.
