Makayla Rivero
Certified Veterinary Technician

Makayla began her career in the veterinary field five years ago when she enrolled in Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician program and fell in love with this field. She has since graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Makayla has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since April 14th 2017 and looks forward to everything this field has to offer. She is currently working hard on a Biology of Biomedical Sciences bachelors and once graduated she plans to pursue vet school. Makayla has a special interest in veterinary orthopedics and physical rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs Jett and Baloo, going on hikes, and going to her boxing class.






Ashley Didier
Certified Veterinary Technician

Ashley has always had a love for animals since she was a little girl taking home strays. She began volunteering at the Humane Society in 2012 which eventually landed her a job working for the Humane Society. She knew then she wanted a career in helping animals. Ashley enrolled in PIMA Medical Institutes Veterinary Technician program in 2016. She has since graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree. She is very interested in dentistry and hopes to one day become a Veterinary Dental Technician. In her spare time you can find Ashley snuggled up on the couch with her dog Sophie and cat Chloe or spending time with family and friends.






Trish Spriggs
Certified Veterinary Technician

Trish is a Certified Veterinary Technician from Pima Medical Institute. She started working with animals years ago when volunteering at the Humane Society and never looked back. Trish enjoys doing behavior modification work and recently became interested in canine reproduction. At home she has three dogs, Koda, Roxas, and Zion, as well as two guinea pigs. On her free time she likes to play video games and go hiking.






Alex Jacobson
Veterinary Assistant 

Alexandra joined our team as a veterinary assistant. Graduating from PIMA medical institute, Alex is continuing her education to become a certified veterinary technician. Alex has a whole farm at home consisting of her dog, cat, rabbit, and guinea pig. During her free time she likes to relax with her fur children and go for walks…to the fridge.
